Re: Fairy Fighting

The only auto kill I like so far is the F.C. Boss one. 'Cuz if you don't dodge it, you are fucked, literally. Frost Wolf auto kill is... like... "Should I let him... nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh". Those don't really provide anything to the actual gameplay, so I kind of agree with KiWolfGirl where they should have let him just be a finish, drain a chunk of health upon struggle release (while draining health on the struggle), and keep going on fighting, even if the reasons are a tad bit different. I mean, I normally don't complain about balance on a porn game, but man, he is definitely going for that with the 1000 changes he has done to the Fairy.

I play without cheats, maybe 'cuz I like the rape aspect. If my life bar doesn't go down, I lose what little immersion I can possibly muster.

In the point of Auto KO on infinite health, well, he may not do it 'cuz it requires more work. It's easier to make a grab, then go straight to the finish (while making releases where the enemy and the Fairy just jump back), than to make a grab, a release (as in, the enemy is done with you and let's you go), and then a finisher IF it brings your life to 0, you can skip one animation worth of work, lol. A fine example of an enemy that does have grabs, releases(as in, finishes up) AND a finisher if you life hits 0, is the Fallen Fairy, and that's why she is one of my favorites. While she does have an auto kill, she rarely uses it, favoring more the Raging Demon. It's somewhat easier to dodge than the FC Boss, but if she does get you, I have yet to struggle my way out of it, she just dashes and boom.

Another reason might be he doesn't really care about that, so many tweaks and changes on new and old enemies means that he wants to balance the game around those playing without the cheats, the cheats are just a bonus for those who want them. Maybe he will add a gallery in the future?

Basically, FW auto kill is an "Yes... or no?".
FC boss auto kill is a "OH shi- his bar is full, gotta watch out".
FFairy auto kill is a bit more positional. Then again, I am almost always jumping to avoid the Raging Demon.

THEN AGAIN, the other dude in me says that he is a dog, that's how they work, I mean, if they knot you, it ain't coming out till he is done, and that will be his main goal. Like, if he doesn't knot you, he can't finish, and therefore can't work like other enemies. So I can't see how the knot could be anything but an instant kill within a grab, and I don't see how that can be balanced unless it's like Fury of the Twin Orbs (legend of krystal) grab system, 'cuz the current struggle only requires smashing buttons... I doubt that will happen since the wolf is made like a normal dog, at least as far as I know, he does you, and while doing ya he swells up.

That system is cool because its kind of like a RoR RPG, using your stats, and i'd rather not play DDR to try to escape because F.F.:L.O.T.T.O. isnt the same as this and the system is already implemented... But thats neither here nor there. What is here is that, You still mash buttons? Try assigning keys to WASD, and holding Left+Right+Up when grappled. It should autofire, making getting out of grabs easier.

i know about the left+right trick and i really hope he doesnt fix it but the point isnt that its hard to get out of the grabs, its that its a porn game and i dont want to get out of the grabs. id prefer if it didnt end the game there and i had to start over when i have infinite health on, i just want to see it again and again. or at least a hump move that isnt a special one hit kill.

Didn't know about that, but getting out of grabs ain't hard at all, and if I did that I would feel like I am "falling dodging" every enemy in Kurodavis to avoid attacks and damage, me no like that.
Doesn't mean I won't use it in certain situations... GIGGITY!

Also, who knows, we might get the Wolf for mugen (like the other creatures), that would be AWESOME. I think.

Gamemaker doesn't like long directories, try extracting on the C:\ directory (Never had to do it with this particular game though).

Also, as Ki mentioned, doesn't need Japan settings, but it is suppose to work under japanese settings too.

Annoying Wolf unblockable instant ice pussy stab.

Triangle Ice? Ice Triangle?

Image after wolf finisher is D'awwwwwwwwww. Seems to be a much nicer fate than the rest of her opponents.

Fairy looks too young... hmmm...

Thing is

He might just like the fairy the way it is.
As far back as I can recall, fairies were tiny and looked awfully young.
Redoing all the sprites? Doubt it.

KiWolfGirl wrote:when did he say how old the fairy is
He hasn't, but they are talking about how she looks, even if the sentence seems to imply she is just young (check the suggestion on the blog).

You know, when you think about it, if you ignore the latest enemy, the whole game could be considered tiny. Spider? Plant? Bee? Another fairy? Jellyfish? Slime? Dunnowtfthe1stand2ndare? Fairy Crushers could even be fleas. Worms? That naga could be... uh... dunno.

I actually really like this train of thought. The Crushers are probably some kind of tiny mammal, like shrews or something. The Ropers, Meatcatcher, and Eggplant are all most likely some kind of extradimensional beings, judging by their environment background and the special powers of the meatcatcher. The fallen fairy is clearly infested by some kind of parasite, which are normally tiny as well. Odds are the Frozenwolf is some kind of frost spirit, much like Tiki is a wind spirit. The Jellyfish is actually a bit of a hangup, seeing as how it is an aquatic creature that somehow flies. It's possible that it is an electric and/or water spirit, but I haven't the faintest idea.
